AI Product Engineer (m/f/d)

• Drive generative and agentic AI from ideation to production, including multi-step agents that analyse, draft, verify, and prepare compliance deliverables (with human checkpoints where they matter).
• Own evaluation and quality: confidence scoring, accuracy measurement, and regression testing, so output is trustworthy enough to put in front of a customer.
• Instrument the data flywheel from day one, capturing each AI draft, expert edit, and final result so every delivery makes Proof AI measurably better.
• Build the product end to end, from the services and APIs to the lightweight interfaces the delivery team and customers use to review and approve work, plus the automation and integrations (e.g. via MCP) that connect them to the systems work flows through.
• Work forward-deployed, close to live deliveries: see where the product and the AI break under real deadlines, and turn that directly into what you build next.
• Partner with product management, compliance and sustainability experts, and the engineering team to translate delivery needs into reliable features, applying modern LLMOps practices and TDD for maintainable, rapidly iterated pipelines.

• Full-stack engineer: You build product end to end and ship it, comfortable across the stack from data models and services through to the interfaces on top. Our platform is TypeScript-based (Angular, Nest.js); equally strong experience in another modern stack is just as welcome.
• Strong product mindset: You care about the outcome, not just shipping a feature. You know when “done is better than perfect”. You plan for the AI getting things wrong and for tight deadlines, and you track how your work performs so you can keep improving it.
• Proficient in GenAI and agentic workflows: You have multiple years building and shipping agentic AI in production, with leading LLMs (e.g. Claude, Gemini) and agent frameworks such as Mastra or LangChain. You are comfortable designing multi-agent pipelines, tool use, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and you build AI-natively in your own workflow.
• Strong in both TypeScript and Python: You use TypeScript for product, services, and agents and  Python for the deterministic logic and data work delivery depends on. Both matter for this role.
• Automation and reliability: You ideally have experience with browser automation (Playwright, Puppeteer or similar) against changing interfaces, and with integrating systems via APIs and MCP.
• Evaluation and LLMOps: You evaluate model output rigorously (confidence scoring, accuracy, regression testing) and apply modern LLMOps and CI/CD practices, ideally with GitHub, alongside tracing and prompt management.
• SaaS and domain context: You have implemented AI in B2B SaaS applications. You are ideally familiar with compliance, sustainability, or regulatory frameworks, or you have a track record of getting deep into a complex regulated domain fast.
• Collaborative and quality-driven: You value collaboration, engage in pair programming, and prioritize high-quality work through peer code reviews.
• Initiative and adaptability: You take the lead on new projects, drive them to production, and continuously learn and improve based on outcomes. You are comfortable with ambiguity and fast-changing scope, and energized by working close to the customer.
• Fluent in English: You are fluent in English, which is required for effective communication with our team and stakeholders.
